April is Credit Union Youth Month!

Grow your savings with West Branch Valley FCU! During April, Credit Unions nationwide celebrate the importance of learning financial responsibility and savings habits from a young age. This year, WBVFCU has several special offers and fun activities to celebrate Youth Month.

Open a new Youth account and WBVFCU will waive the membership fee
Receive a terra cotta "Grow with Us" pot and seed packet when you open a Youth account or certificate

- There will be 4 age groups (0-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13+)
- 3 winners will be chosen from each age group
- Winners receive $25 deposited into their WBVFCU account

Grow With Us Accounts

The Grow With Us account is our Youth Savings, specifically designed for children up to 18 years old. It's a great way for your little ones to learn the value of saving for the future and to begin to build up their savings. Young members will earn interest on balances of $5.00 or more with a premium interest rate. To help you start saving for the newest addition to your family, WBVFCU will deposit the first $25.00 into the account for newborns up to one year old.

Grow With Us members will receive a "Rewards Card." Each time a deposit of $5 or more is made into the account, we will stamp the card. When the card is full (10 stamps per card), it can be traded in for a gift card of your choice in the amount of $5. We have gift cards to several local retailers available to choose from. Don't forget to show your "Rewards Card" to the teller each time you make a deposit of $5.00 or more to receive your stamp.

For longer term savings, we offer a special youth share certificate - the Grow With Us Certificate. With this Share Certificate, you earn a premium rate by committing to keep your savings on deposit for the 2.5 year term.
